Holy Card

I don't do a lot of paper PIERCING--paper PIECING, yes, but PIERCING?  Where's my straight pins?
So I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and met the new Squigglefly challenge this week, and poked holes in my card, and you know what?  I like it!!
I used a new Cheryl Alger digi image called Sassy Sally and Bella Play Hide and Seek.  I used my trusty Copics for coloring the image, then matted the image on the same colored cardstock as the card base.
For the Piercing, I had a leftover piece of patterned paper with various sized swirls and flourishes.  So I used a few of them as templates for my hole-piercing.  A sticker sentiment and a flower embellish my card (with a little inking of the edges thrown in) and I'm finished!!
Now I'm on the lookout for more patterned papers that offer "templates" for paper piercing, with shapes like butterflies and flowers and, well, almost anything!!
Now it's your turn to poke fun, I mean holes, at your creativity!  Don't forget to use a Squigglefly image and you will have a chance at some free digi's, like Cheryl's new image using one of my fave girls, Sassy Sally!
