Today I made a card that was CAS to me. CAS in that the image is so simple to use. Here, I inked the white spaces of this Scribbles by Sandy digi, called Hugs, with Distress Ink, and it was ready to pop on a card. I used a large tag by K&Co, folding it in half to make a card. A few embellishments, and I am ready to welcome Spring.
However, in Chicago, we woke up to (gasp) snow left over from a weather system who partied hearty in the windy City! It's now in the 40's and the snow has melted, but can I say BRRR! O Spring wehy doth thou abandon me??? LOL
Scribbles has a challenge in which I am entering my card. Do you think I welcomed Sprung a little too enthusiastically? Maybe I scared her away??

I guess that same system hit us as we had snow yesterday too and hail. Enough to put a white cast over most of the ground for the night and boy was it cold outside.
I think you welcomed spring just fine. I really love the Sandy's 'hugs' image and have used it a time or two myself. I'm going to thank you for entering our Scribbles Designs challenge while I'm here too seeing as I'm on the team.
Oh and I've got a couple new free papers in case you missed them. One has birthday cakes and the other frogs.
Okay my friend. I'll talk to you again soon!
Hugs,
Lisa
Oh I just LUV that image... brilliant card. :-) Well - you can keep that cold weather over there. My Spring has sprung and it's warming up nicely :-D xoxoxox
