Okay, I know when we get a chance, we can really let ur hair down, but ladies, please, don't get caught going viral on Facebook looking like this!
I love this image by Chesney Young called "Shady Lady", and offered by Squigglefly. This week's challenge on the Squigglefly Challenge Blog requires players to use something not normally found in your craft room, like "putting a square peg in a round hole".
So I thought it would be nice to embellish my card with the hair of the dog that bit her. I carefully pulled the label off one of those little bottles of wine that come in four-packs (oh sp convenient!). To bring the message home, I photographed my card with a(nother) bottle of the same brew.
I colored my lady with my trusty Copics, added some shimmer with Stickles, and framed her with a little color-blocking. Adding the wine label put my card in the running for the challenge. A line of jewels, inside and out, finish off my card.
And I know the perfect lady to send this card to. My sister LOVES Pinot Grigio, so Kathy, here's one for you. Just don't let your son catch you on his phone!!

what a fun image and such great inspiration!! Great job!
Pat,
I have a good friend that did this one time - put her lampshade on her head at one of her dinner parties - after several after dinner beverages! So, I am going to have to buy this image and send her a "remember when" card! I love your card - it really made me laugh so hard thinking of that fun memory. Wonderful and adorable card - I love, love it!
Really cute card Pat! This is one of my favorite images and you've done it justice! Great coloring and fun thing to do with the label!
Awesome Pat! Love the image and great idea to use a wine label.
Love how you showcased this great image. Very creative using the wine label and love that you took the picture of the bottle with it! Great inspiration Pat!
