I made an easel card today with a Squigglefly digi image called Just My Type! by artist Judith Hart.
I loved using my typewriter key alpha stickers to make the sentiment on the second half of my card.
After coloring the image with Copics, I fussy-cut it out and popped it on the first half of the easel card. Some alpha stickers and symbols add to the scene, as well as a few coordinating stars and orange Stickles.
I made this card with this week's Squigglefly challenge in mind. It is to use the volor ORANGE in your project and of course a Squigglefly digi image.
There are so many images to choose from becasue new and talented artists keep being added on to the creative list!! They are welcoming TWO new artists in October - a husband and wife team - Carmen and Graham Gamble. You can see one of Carmen's images later in October since I am one of the lucky ones to have an image from her to play with!!

Flower Challenge at Squigglefly
Good morning crafters! This week's challenge over at the Squigglefly Blog is to Use a flower on your card-can be a Squigglefly image or sentiment, an embellishment, whatever!
Here is what I came up with. The Squigglefly digi image is a new September release by artist Judith Hart called "Way Up High." Isn't the rainbow so pretty? The image has more to it, but I fussy-cut it out for my card.
You can see that my patterned paper sports flowers, as well as the two brads I used to create growing flowers. Even the sentiment mentions flowers.
I colored my image with Copics, and embellished with adhesive lace ribbon and a couple more brads.
If you want to see the other new September releases, you'll have to visit the shop. there are many talented artists who design for Squigglefly, so there's a little something for everyone's tastes.
Don't forget to use a Squigglefly image and play in their challenge this week!

Blessing Tree by Judith Hart
Squigglefly has released some awesome digi images this month! One of them is called "Blessing Tree" by new Squigglefly artist Judith Hart.
I used Judith's new image on my card today. It meets the guidelines of Squigglefly's new challenge this week: Use twine, ribbon or floss.
I used several pieces of leftover patterned papers to form a frame for my Copic-colored image. The only embellishment on it is the leaf peeking from behind the image.
Of course, on the remainder of the card, I tied my baker's twine. I have a lot of twine but have never really used it much-just don't know what to do with it. So I think I'll go over to the Squigglefly Challenge Blog to get some inspiration. Maybe I'll soon be running short on twine!!
Use your twine while you have some, along with a Squigglefly digi image, like Judith's Blessing Tree, and join the challenge--you could win free digis this week!
