Time for another challenge at Ike's World Challenge Blog, and here is my DT project for the midway reminder post. I used an Ike's Art image called Muse 5 for my "Love, Actually" inspiration. After coloring her in Photoshop, I placed her onto a patterned paper from Marta Van Eck's "ATC Written" collection available at Mischief Circus. I embellished with a strip of paper from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles Glitterati paper set and various digital flowers.
My sentiment came from Pinterest, printed using the font "Coventry Garden." The sentiment comes from my heart straight to my hubby of almost 40 years.
You have another week to join in on the challenge at Ike's World Challenge Blog. One lucky winner will get a gift certificate to Ike's Art Store. What are you waiting for?!

A Walk in the Woods
"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."
~from Robert Frost, The Road Not Taken
Hello, crafters! Time for another DT project for Ike's World Challenge Blog. The challenge is at its midpoint, and I wanted to lend some inspiration by creating this hybrid card. Between paper-crafting elements and digital magic, My image, Frankinella (a freebie on Ike's World Challenge Blog), decorates the woods with a colorful yet uneasy appearance. I think this time I would want to "take the road much more traveled..." LOL
My background is a recent watercolor I created. It is framed with the Gold textured paper from Christmas Grunge by Decosse's Dynamite Doodles. My leaves and stars are from a collection called "Hello Autumn" from , and the "campfire" is from .
Whether you take the road less traveled or heavily traveled, stay out of the woods on Halloween. You never know who (or what) you might meet. Check out the challenge blog for your freebie. Link up your Autumn Colors project and you have a chance to win a gift certificate to Ike's Art.
Challenges I am Entering:
Forever Dark - Anything Dark not cute Goes
Fan-tastic Tuesdays - Anything Goes w/a Twist: Autumn Colors
Tuesday Throwdown - Water Color (my background)
Get Creative challenges - Halloween

'There is Nothing More Deceptive than an Obvious Fact.'
One of my favorite crafts to create is an ATC, or Artist's Trading Card. I have made tiny cards for co-workers with them, as well as showcased them on full-sized cards. They measure 2.5x3.5 inches and are tiny masterpieces of creativity.
ATC's are what you need to create to join in the Ike's World Challenge blog this week. I used an Ike's Art image called Sherlock, but you don't have to use one of her images. However, if you do, you will be entered into the prize drawing twice. Twice is nice when we're talking prizes, don't you agree?!
If you join the Ike's Art Fan Page, there are several FREEBIES posted. I love her images and "collecting all Ike's Images" is on my bucket list.
Hope I'll see you at Ike's World Challenge blog this week! Have fun, crafters!

Under the Sea
Today is the midway point of the newest challenge at Ike's World Challenge blog. The theme is Pets or Animals, and I made a card to cheer up a friend. She's in elementary school and is having a rough time, so I thought it would be appropriate to send her a laugh.
Do you know what's in the middle of a jellyfish??
.That's right, a jelly button!! ROFL
I got to play with a few images from the digi set Sea Life from Ike's store. There are several images in the entire set, so besides printing and coloring the set of jelly fish with Copics, I decided to use Mr. Crab as the riddle teller.
On the inside, along with the punchline, I snuck in another image from the set, and wrote LOL. I think it will at least put a smile on her face, don't you?
Okay, there's still another week left in the Pets/Animals challenge. You don't have to use an Ike's Art image to join in, but she sure has a bunch of awesome ones, and she even has posted a freebie for you to use!! (psst, she's offering a $20 gift certificate for one winner.
