Up All Night

Got a little time again so I crept into my craft room and colored this delicious Halloween Tilda stamped image that was RAKd to me. I love her. I put her in front of a haunted house (CTMH stamp) on a stitched card front (thank you Linda) after coloring her with Copics.
Also accomplished are my inchies for one of my Yahoo Group swaps. There are five groups of five, and the hostess will have to pick and choose who gets which ones, after choosing a set for herself. I had fun making them, once I got over the creative space of only one square inch!

My Girls Layout

The most favorite place in our house , as far as Bella is concerned, is Aunt Gwen's room.. It isn;t often, but sometimes she forgets to close her door, and then like a streak of lightning, she's off for fun and frolic. We let her in this time, camera close at hand, and caught her running down the hallway, checking out the artwork on Gwen's door, and taking a short rest before jumping up again.

ATC Challenge Work

I'm playing a game in the Yahoo Group Scrapbooking Place and the first artistic challenge was to make ATCs. Well, I love ATCs so this was easy peasy for me. I grabbed my box of scraps and even took a look in my small box of embellies and came up with these little cuties.
The first uses a stamp from Stampin UP. The second uses a chipboard image from the Green Stack byu DCWV.
The third one - I don't know, stuff in my leftover bin! The fourth, again I draw a blank, and the last is poor bandaged Tilda from Magnolia Stamps. They took me all of maybe half an hour, and my box of leftover paper doesn't look any emptier!

New Tilda Cards

Finally have some time to post the cards and layouts I've made over the last week or so. These two cards are for the Magnolia-licious Raining Cards Swap for NEXT month. You heard me, I'm actually making ahead. I figure come Halloween I will be swamped with work, crafting adn Christmas planning.
I colored Tilda with Copics, of course. Love those markers! The background stamp is an image that I received at a coloring class. I have a limited number of stamped images of the dock, and it is a good backgroun to practice my light and shadows. I also pieced Tilda's grass skirt on the first card by coloring both the skirt on Tilda herself, and coloring another skirt off another stamped image of the same. I adgered the top half of her skirt with tape and the bottom half with pop dots to give it a 3D effect.
I realized after I colored the water that I used my blues, so how was I going to color the night sky? Violet to the rescue! Altho it didn't show up well in the photo, it looks great from where I'm viewing it LOL.
I haev more projects to post, but my house is weeping in shame. I guess I sould get cleaning!

Tilda Cards

I sent out September Rain cards earlier this week to the lucky four in September on Magnolia-licious Yahoo group, and this was one of them. I made this at Heidi's crop. The inside card pulls out from the top. I used all CTMH papers, and colored Tilda and her puppy with Copics.
The card base was made from leftover pieces of paper from earlier projects. I just colored and added the image as well as the log, then added some pearl bling I bought at the convention.

Easter Layout

Easter, 2007--the last year the Easter Bunny visited our house and hid our eggs. At least we still color the eggs and then we always go to my sister's house for dinner. She doesn't care how old the kids get--she's the Bunny and will still hide the eggs and make up baskets for them!
I've had this paper forever, and just now got around to using it. I cut out the eggs from another sheet of patterned paper to embellish the pages and frame out the year. Again, simple pages using minimum embellishments! Who am I and what did I do with the real me?! Or is my style changing? We'll have to wait and see until the next crop, won't we?

Love You Layout

While at Saturday's crop I won a prize, a package of white rub-ons. It fit so well on the page in front of me! All the layouts I created this weekend have one big thing in common. Very few added embellishments! I am usually piling them on until it's hard to see the photos, and wanted to curb my enthusiasm for buttons and jewels and stickles and ribbons and such. I still think the page is gorgeous, and I bought this paper pack at Michael's on clearance!
