I also love digital papers which I print off and then use just as I would any other paper. I have not yet got the hang of digital things for designs or altering. I like the scene you created. Is it going to be a scrapbook page. It would make a good one. I use digital primarily for heritage pages with lots of journaling or for work picture pages because I like them to be clean and simple. For cards, I love digital images because you can resize them and combine them to suit your needs. I still have tons of stamps, though, and seem to constantly get more. I am dabbling in using pre-colored images and digital paper, but I'm still very much a novice with them.Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04739214586035433435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1634324283709322792.post-81149965254893176072015-04-14T14:52:59.247-05:002015-04-14T14:52:59.247-05:00I would love to follow your blog but because of th...I would love to follow your blog but because of the font I can't read what it says without getting a major migraine. Sorry that I can't because it really looks like a fun place to be! Hmmm...you'll have to let me know which one, I really like that one.

I can safely say that the majority of my time is spent at the computer each day. I wish it was spent on design work but sadly I just have too much admin stuff to get done each day in order to sustain the challenges I run and of course my own blog.

In terms of actual digital design of cards, I'm becoming more and more comfortable with it. I find that probably close to half of my cards are laid out and created digitally and then I just print and cut them out. Sometimes, I'll put it all together with an outline image so that when I print it out, all I have to do is colour the image. I enjoy colouring, I just wish I had more time to do it. I could go on and on but I'll stop there.

Oh and a tip to give your digital elements some depth. Invest in some shadowed layer styles and then add these shadows to your elements. It really helps to give the piece some depth. If you'd like to know where to get some good ones for free, give me a shout.

Hugs,
Lisa Decosse's Dynamite Doodleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12100692025215744977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1634324283709322792.post-22666634102749483312015-04-14T13:39:04.686-05:002015-04-14T13:39:04.686-05:00oh, Holley, couldn't we all?! Sometimes I just size them for whatever project I am working on.
I still like stamped images too.
Virginia MontagnaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14968419488744885095noreply@blogger.com
